Anita Trotta (Past Speaker)

Anita joined Spinal Elements, as the head of Human Resources in April 2018, after a reverse acquisition, to build the Human Resources team, processes and tools that create an employee experience aligned with Spinal Elements’ cultural tenets.  She understands the importance of Human Resources to architect the employer brand and employee experience as well as the ongoing communication and collaboration required with senior leadership to develop high performing teams.

Anita has held positions of progressively greater responsibility within Human Resources since 1988 in small, mid-size, and large technology companies such as Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Electro Scientific Industries, QinetiQ North America (QNA) and Dassault Systemes (BIOVIA Brand). She utilizes this background to capitalize on technology to champion innovation and agility.

Anita received a Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Management from the University of California Irvine as well as a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Chapman University.  She also holds a Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management from University of California San Diego and completed the Advanced Program in Human Resources Management from the Anderson School of Business at University of California Los Angeles.  Anita embraces the concept of lifelong learning as a certified Compensation Professional (CCP) by World at Work, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

When not working, Anita enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.  She also enjoys traveling, hiking, and snow skiing.
