Georgeann Couchara (Past Speaker)

Georgeann Couchara is Vice President of Human Resources overseeing Danaher Corporation’s $6.5 billion Life Sciences platform of operating companies where she is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, including executing talent processes, leadership development, associate engagement, diversity & inclusion, and cultivating DBS and innovation cultures globally. 

Georgeann has been with Danaher for 15 years, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Communications for Pall. While at Pall she served as a thought leader, partner and change agent in advancing organizational capabilities and effectiveness by leading a team to reduce turnover, increase senior leader talent pools, reduce succession gaps and increase engagement. 

Prior to Pall, Georgeann spent nearly three years as Vice President, Global Human Resources & Communications for SCIEX. Throughout her tenure at SCIEX, Georgeann led the Global HR Strategy, again improving associate engagement and achieving low global turnover rates. She also championed a creative and effective development culture to support internal associate movement, achieving a high level of talent export across Danaher. Prior to SCIEX, Georgeann was the Vice President, Global Human Resources at Ormco Corporation within the Dental platform. Georgeann also served as Director, Corporate Human Resources and Talent at Danaher Corporate.  

Georgeann earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology and a Master of Arts in Industrial and Labor Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
