Gina Codd (Past Speaker)

Gina Codd is currently the Vice President, Global Talent Management and Learning for Edwards Lifesciences.  In this capacity, she is responsible for areas such as the talent management process, leadership development, technical training, talent analytics, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement as well as merger and acquisition initiatives.  

Gina joined Edwards in August 2008. She came to Edwards with over 20 years of leadership experience as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner in various industries including financial services, high hazard manufacturing and Human Resources outsourcing.    

Through the course of her employment at Edwards she has been the HR Leader for the Critical Care, Surgical, and Transcatheter Heart Valve divisions, and has had responsibility for manufacturing sites in Irvine, Draper, Singapore, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. She transferred to Transcatheter Heart Valve early in her Edwards employment to focus her efforts on building the workforce that brought SAPIEN to market in the United States. Over the course of her employment at Edwards she has also been the HR lead on various acquisition efforts including CardiAQ, CardioBand, Harpoon and most recently CASMED.  

Gina earned her Bachelors’ degree from California State Long Beach and her Masters’ degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco. She enjoys spending time with her family and their two French bulldogs, Freddie and Axle. Her obsessions include going to concerts and spending time at the beach.
