Jamy Salazar (Past Speaker)

Jamy Salazar is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at DJO, a global orthopedic devices company. In this role, she leads a diverse team that includes Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and HR Business Partners for DJO’s largest business unit. She has 20 years of experience as an HR leader in high-tech, life sciences and medical device companies in the US and Europe. Prior to joining DJO, Jamy worked for Illumina as the head of Human Resources for EMEA in the UK and the head of Global Talent Management in the US. Jamy has also held various HR leadership roles in Life Technologies (now Thermo Fisher), Qualcomm and AppliedMicro. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona and a Master of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Diego State University. Jamy is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a certified master trainer for several internationally recognized leadership development programs.
