Jenny Gizzi (Past Speaker)

Jenny Gizzi joined Mirati in 2019 as Vice President and Head of Human Resources, bringing more than 20 years of experience from all facets of HR in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. In her most recent role as Head of Strategy & Operations, Business Insights and Analytics at Bristol-Myers Squibb, a global pharmaceutical company, she spent much of her time working on the Celgene acquisition and integration. Additionally, she served as Head of Human Resources, supporting the early Oncology Research site for the Bay Area and Cambridge, MA locations. At the Cambridge location, she was responsible for opening BMS’s newest research site. Other roles included Head of Global Talent for European Markets, Australia and Canada where she oversaw global talent for eight markets and 13 countries and led the international team specializing in strategy creation overseeing all talent. 

Prior to BMS, Jenny held roles of increasing responsibility at llumina, Inc. where she was ultimately responsible for their global talent function as the Head of Global Talent Acquisition. Jenny has been a welcomed speaker at multiple global conferences where she shares her strategy on how to execute talent plans to engage, retain and develop amazing talent. Jenny’s background also includes roles at other pharmaceutical companies, including Aventis (now Sanofi) as well as other sectors of the telecommunications industry. Jenny firmly believes “talent is everything – it’s what sets us apart and makes us different from everyone else.”

Jenny holds a BA in Corporate Communications from Farleigh-Dickinson University in NJ.
