Rona Anhalt (Past Speaker)

Rona Anhalt is a Corporate Vice President of human resources and member of the management committee at Celgene Corporation, a leading biotechnology company that discovers, develops and commercializes therapies for cancer and inflammatory disorders.  She is currently responsible for the HR business partnering, talent and organizational development and HR analytics functions across the organization, and in this capacity works closely with leadership to insure alignment of the business and human capital strategies.

Rona has over 25 years of experience in the finance and human resources fields. Prior to joining Celgene in late 2016, Rona spent 12 years at Novartis Pharmaceuticals where she led several HR generalist and COE functions in various parts of the organization.  Most recently Rona was the Head of HR for the Cell and Gene Therapy Unit, which developed the first transformative CAR-T therapy to be approved by the FDA.  She previously worked in the high tech and financial services industries, and began her career as a financial analyst in commercial banking.

Rona received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Economics from Queens College, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the NYU Stern School of Business.  Rona lives in New Jersey and is married with 3 children.
