Ryan Carfley (Past Speaker)

Ryan Carfley is the CEO and Managing Partner of Personify, one of the fastest-growing recruitment process outsourcing service providers headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. A recent graduate of Kenan Flagler Business School’s Executive MBA program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ryan’s success in driving innovation in the recruiting industry has led him to be named an EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist (2017) and to the Triangle Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” List (2015). 

Under Ryan’s leadership, Personify has grown from a local boutique executive search firm to a global talent acquisition solutions supplier operating in 26 countries. This growth has landed Personify on Inc. Magazine’s List of Fastest-Growing, Privately Held Companies for 3 consecutive years (2015, 2016, and 2017) and the Triangle Business Journal’s “Fast 50” List (2015, 2016, and 2018), while Carfley’s dedication to being the leading customer service organization in the recruiting industry has resulted in Personify being recognized on HRO Today’s Baker’s Dozen List of RPO Service Providers (2016, 2017, and 2018) and by Nelson Hall as an RPO Innovator and Leader in Candidate Experience (2019). Over his 18-year tenure with Personify, Ryan has remained deeply rooted in his commitment to building long-term partnerships with clients and providing a once in a generation workplace experience for employees, thus establishing Personify as both the vendor and employer of choice in the talent acquisition space.
